Pinkey is a SaaS platform designed for the liberal community, built as a private social network with over 25,000 users. It represents the natural evolution of OK Swingers, Spain’s leading platform in this segment for more than 10 years, now fully modernised and adapted to current expectations.
The challenge: evolving a leading platform without losing its essence
The main challenge was to build a next-generation platform that could replace a well-established product while preserving user trust, privacy and community dynamics. The new solution needed to offer the richness of a modern social platform, deliver an excellent mobile-first experience, support multiple user roles and provide a secure environment with advanced privacy features.
Offing’s solution: a custom, secure and mobile-first social platform
Offing designed and developed a fully custom platform using Python for the backend and React/Next.js for the frontend, with PostgreSQL as the database. The result is a 100% responsive experience that feels like an app on mobile devices.
A strong focus was placed on security and privacy, including encrypted data and mechanisms aimed at protecting sensitive content, such as restrictions intended to prevent downloads and screen captures.
